A different Walk for coffee.

Haight-Ashbury

This is the cradle of the summer of Love. It is were the ideals of brotherhood thru humanity in community are fashioned. This is wear i now reside and there is no real way of describing the long lasting impact of those summer ideals. This was the epicenter from which many things changed. Those changes can still be felt today. Some of the noted sites that have been seen by these my unfaithful eyes are simple. They are however majestic to living and let live in community and freedom of expression. As made my way to on of my local java pot places. I have witnessed so far in the short few days here a collection of oddities that i pray do not stop.

I with black book bag in hand, witness the following expression of free Love literally. These two twenty something attractive street dwellers looking musicians, where expressing their need not for food, employment, or beer. But, Mans' unending unquenchable thirst for sex. As one belted a lovely musical symphony thru and old beat up harmonica, the other played on beating his drum with ease. As if the rhythmic thrust of his hand upon the stretched leather would make two sex partners appear from the mist of this urban Jungle. With a flirtatious smile both you men attempting to lure a mid afternoon delight in existence. So living these two pot smoking Romeo's' in the past in am greeter by another wonder.

Recalling the scene from Garden State where Natalie Portman in her sensitive yet assertive tone of voice assertively states, "side cars are for bitches!" I giggled to my self as I saw the following image buzz by. Two people out for a sunday getaway ride in a side car.
Then with out warning i was confronted by wanted poster looking for a long lost relative of the city as a whole. "Steve" the sea, so i could not help my self as to capture the missing persons report with my camera.

An Haight-Ashbury coffee house is not a coffee house without awesome creative table tops like these. That make you want to drink all the coffee in house at once.
